29 deaths, 2,305 fresh Covid cases reported in Haryana

Haryana on Sunday reported 29 Covid-19 related fatalities as 2305 fresh cases surfaced in the state. With this, the state’s tally of positive cases reached 111257 and the total toll stood at 1149.

Three deaths each were reported from Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Karnal, Ambala, two deaths each were reported in Yamunanagar, Faridabad, Panchkula, Hisar, Sonepat, one death each was reported in Rohtak, Gurugram, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Bhiwani, Fatehabad and Kaithal, the Haryana Health Department’s evening bulletin stated.

 “Out of 2035 fresh cases reported on Sunday, a maximum of 405 were reported from Gurugram, 257 from Hisar, 234 from Sonepat, 203 from Faridabad, 180 from Ambala, 141 from Panipat, 133 from Panchkula and 110 from Sirsa  among other cases. Out of 378 critical patients admitted in the hospitals, 318 patients were on oxygen support while 60 were on ventilator,” the health bulletin stated. 88697 patients including 2547 in the last 24 hours have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals in the state. There were a total of 21411 active cases in Haryana till the evening, the bulletin said.

 The worst-affected districts in the state-Faridabad has till now reported 17761 positive cases and 205 deaths while Gurugram has reported 17842 cases and 160 fatalities due to COVID-19.
