A 29 year-old fashion designer allegedly rammed her BMW car into a roadside ice cream stall and injured three persons standing near the stall in Southeast Delhi area. The incident occurred on Friday night.
The accused has been identified as Roshani Arora, a resident of East of Kailash and she is a fashion designer by profession in National Capital.
A video of the incident also went viral on social media. In the CCTV footage it can be seen that a navy blue coloured BMW car rammed into the ice cream stall and dragged the people for a short distance standing near the stall on the roadside.
According to a senior police official, the incident occurred around 9:30 PM on Friday night in Southeast Delhi’s posh Greater Kailash on Raja Adhir Sen Road D-Block near East of Kailash.
“The woman fled from the spot after the incident. The trio injured in the incident were taken to National Heart Institute hospital where they are undergoing treatment,” said the senior police official.
“A case under relevant section of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered and the woman was later released on bail,” said the police official privy to the investigation.
