A 30-year-old married woman pursuing Post Graduation in BAMS committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in Sector-D under Piplani police station area on Friday.
According to the police, the deceased, Sarita Patel, was found hanging by the family members. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The deceased committed suicide late in the evening when her husband who is MBBS doctor was out for some work. The deceased who lives with her husband, brother-in-law, mother-in-law and father-in-law married four months ago and in the investigation police have not any reason behind the suicide which forced her to take commit suicide.
Police said that the deceased hailed from Chhindwara. After she was found hanging by in-laws she was rushed to nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Police have not found any suicide note and the reason would be investigated.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Chanakyapuri under Aishbagh police station area on Friday.
According to police, the deceased Gaurav Jain was found hanging.
