nForty coronavirus patients were discharged from different Covid Hospitals in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday while 34 fresh cases were detected from various parts of the state, officials said.
Also, an elderly woman who was Covid positive died on Tuesday night at Raipur, health officials said.
“The woman, hailing from the Housing Board Colony Charoda, Bhilai, was admitted in a private hospital at Raipur a few days back. She was detected Covid positive and referred to AIIMS Raipur. However, she was brought dead here,” AIIMS Raipur Director Nitin Nagarkar said.
From the Covid Hospital Mana Raipur 22 patients were discharged (17 from Mungeli, 3 from Kanker and 2 from Janjgir). Three were discharged from Jagdalpur Medical College, five from Ambikapur Medical College, four from Covid Hospital Bilaspur and six from Raigarh Medical College, the officials said.
Also on Wednesday, 22 people tested positive from Baloda Bazar, eight from Korea and one each from Balrampur, Kawardha, Mungeli and Bilaspur. Currently, there are 465 Covid active patients in the state.
