With 797 new cases, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in Haryana has increased to 45,614 and 38,348 patients have recovered till now. The Recovery rate among Covid-19 patients in Haryana on Friday reached 84.07 per cent. State on the day reported seven fatalities due to coronavirus, pushing the death toll to 518.
Two fatalities each reported in Sonepat, Kurukshetra while one each from Faridabad, Gurugram and Jhajjar, according to a State medical bulletin. According to Haryana Health Department’s official bulletin on Friday evening, 129 patients were reported in Faridabad while 92 in Gurugram.
Among other districts which reported new cases included Rewari (100), Sonepat (50), Ambala (58), Rohtak (41), Panipat (46),Karnal (53), Sirsa (31) and Panchkula (29), it said.
A total of 862 coronavirus patients were discharged after recovering from the infection. So far, 38, 348 people have recovered in the state. There are 6748 active COVID-19 cases in the state, as of now, according to the bulletin.
Twenty-two patients are critical and are on ventilator support while 132 are on oxygen support, the bulletin said. A total of 8.17 lakhs samples have been taken for testing so far in the state, it said.
