Admin to open 10 community kitchens on highway

The Hazaribag administration has decided to open ten community kitchen centers on the highway. With the help of centers the migrant labor can get the easily food during the journey. Five each in sadar and Barhi sub divisional areas shall be opened. The sub divisional officers of both the sub division have been authorized to select the places on the highway. No new case has been reported on Friday.

Hazaribag deputy commissioner Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh said, “We have decided to provide cooked food or food packets for those, who were returning from other State and going to native blocks. Both SDOs will submit their report to district control room. This will start the work from June 1 on the new spots.”

He further said that 23 Mukhiyamantri Dal Bhaat Yojana and 73 Daal Bhaat Kendra are running in the district. 25 community kitchen centers are running on the level of police stations in the district. “We have already opened 50 special Daal Bhaat Kendra in the block headquarters level,” he said.

Singh said that after opening 10 community centers no one will cross without having the food in the district. He said in the different quarantine centers, he has discussed with the persons who are living in quarantine centers. He assured them to provide the maximum facilities will be provided to them from the administration. During the video conferencing the local legislator and Member of Parliament were also there.

Hazaribag Superintendent of Police Kartik S said that last night three cases were lodged on 11 persons. Now in 124 cases has accused 414 persons. The district police has collected total of rupees14,76,000 up to  Friday evening.
