Anti-poaching measures put in place in PTR

Wednesday, 16 September 2020 | PNS | DALTONGANJ

Anti poaching measures have been put in place in Palamu Tiger Reserve. Deputy Director of the North division of the PTR Kumar Ashish said words have been conveyed to villagers there is cash for them if they give information about the poacher and help in nabbing.

There are 9 villages in and around Betla National Park and poachers are locals and jobless too. Ashish said all we want is to frustrate any attempt of poaching. He said recovery and seizure of our poached wildlife give us more pain and hence we all are for a zero poaching. Sources said as months long festivities are just weeks away the thrust on anti-poaching measures is high.
