The BJP organised a “Bal Hanuman Chalisha” in the Radhakrushna Temple at Jena Street, Bada Bazaar here on Wednesday morning ahead of Ram Temple Bhoomi Pujan conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ayodhya.
The programme organised on the advice of former BJP district president KC Pati was attended by several party workers and small children amidst social distancing norms. The children recited Hanuman Chalisha eleven times.
In another event, party workers, under the supervision of Gosaninuagaon Mandal president Namitarani Panda, organised “Ghruta Yajna” to mark the event. Enthusiastic Hindutva lovers and BJP workers offered deepa and prayed to Lord Rama at TVs in their respective homes.
“I covey greetings to Prime Minister Modi for his all out efforts and success in resolving the 500-year-long dispute peacefully in just 5 years,” Pati said referring to proposed construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
