Berasia police have nabbed four miscreants and have recovered from their possession from Berasia area on Thursday; truck was stolen from Devalkheda road on June 24.

According to the police acting on a tip off regarding selling of stolen truck by miscreants they were nabbed. The truck bearing registration number MP09KD2737 was stopped and four persons including the driver were detained and when they were questioned they were not able to provide documents and satisfactory answers.

Later when they were quizzed they confessed that the truck was stolen from Devalkheda road Berasia on June 24.

 A complaint was lodged by Mujeeb Khan regarding his stolen truck bearing registration number MP09KD2737 which was parked at Devalkheda road Berasia.

The miscreants were nabbed when they were on thier way to steale other vehilce in Berasia area when they were nabbed by police.

In the initial investigation the miscreants were identified as Haseen Khan(24) of Nishatpura, Sahir alias Nasir Khan(30) of Aishbagh, Imran Khan(24) of Obedullahganj and Laxminarayan alias Kallu Nawre( 25).

 The four are involved in gambling and addicted to liquor. They decided to commit theft and targeted parked truck in Berasia and later stole the vehicle. The hide the truck behind the trees near sylo center.

The crime record of the four miscreants would be searched as it is possible that the accused have committed other crimes for money. The earlier disposed stolen vehicles would be investigated in the further investigation as it is not known for how long the gang is active.
