In a simple programme held on Saturday at BHEL, Bhopal; Executive Director Shri C. Ananda flagged off the last 2 Nos. 167 mva Transformers for MSETCL Customer.
On this occasion all general managers and employees of TCB were present. General Manager -TCB Vinay Nigam; AGM-TCB (Mfg.) Avinash Chandra), AGM A. Dhamija, R.K. Jain, S. K. Mahajan, MG. Thakkar, G. P. Baghel, and Sr. DGM D. S. Thakur; Manager Saurabh Khare were prominently involved in the execution of this project.
BHEL has bagged this order from M/s Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Corporation Ltd. in July 2019 for Design and Manufacturing of 13 Nos. “Inter Connecting Transformers” (1 No.-315 mva, 3 Nos. 105 mva and 9 Nos. 167 mva ICTs) for various Sub-stations of MSETCL.
Despite, countrywide Lockdown imposed by the government to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, BHEL was able to Design and Manufacture all the 13 Transformers within a challenging schedule of 11 Months including equipment testing & despatch of consignments, all executed in a month’s time.
