State capital continued to witness heavy rainfall for the past two days along with the other parts of the State. On Tuesday State capital recorded 2.7 cm of rainfall during the day.
Heavy downpour lashed the state capital in the evening while the cloud cover was witnessed throughout the day. The state capital has received 221 mm of rainfall which is above normal rainfall in the season so far. In the state around 7-8 districts have witnessed below normal.
State received heavy rainfall in the past two days and same pattern was witnessed on Tuesday.
Dark and dense clouds were present but they failed to pour in the day and later spell of heavy shower was witnessed in the evening.
In the past 24 hours, few places in Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal divisions, at some places in Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar, Rewa, Hoshangabad and Gwalior witnessed rainfall while Chambal division remained dry.
According to the forecast thundery activities and showers would be witnessed at several places in Indore divisions and Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur and Agar districts while in some places in Rewa, Sagar, Shahdol, Bhopal and Jabalpur districts. At few places in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Guna, Ashoka Nagar districts.
Warning has been issued by Met department of heavy rainfall in Raisen, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone districts.
The Met department has issued warning of thundery activities and thunder lightening in Rewa, Sagar, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore and Hoshangabad divisions and Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur and Agar districts.
