Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj on Tuesday accused the BJP- ruled municipal Corporations of harassing the common people by bringing proposal to increase residential property tax by 34 per cent.
Bhardwaj said that instead of giving any relief to the citizens of Delhi in the time of Covid-19 pandemic the BJP ruled municipal Corporations arbitrarily increased property tax. He said that the BJP ruled MCD has decided to sell various prime lands for like Novelty cinema land and other; BJP is trying to sell the MCD before going out power.
Bhardwaj also said, “The corporations are looting common men, small business owners by increasing taxes, and on the other hand, they are introducing a new scheme for so called parking and advertising mafia which is filled up to the brim with corruption.
