The Indian Red Cross Society, Police Commissionerate Branch organised a blood donation camp at the Mahila police station here on Friday.
DCP Anup Sahoo inaugurated the camp. Mahila PS Banita Moharana registered her as lifetime member of the Red Cross and donated blood.
Zone-1 ACP Manas Ranjan Gadanayak, Red Cross Branch joint-secretary ACP Lalitendu Mohanty and executive member Dillip Dashsharma coordinated the whole event. From this camp, a total of 30 units of blood collected. Besides, the Police Commissionerate Red Cross in association with the Samarpita Social Foundation organised a camp at Palaspalli, where 20 units of blood collected. Thus, total 50 units of blood were collected by the Police Commissionerate Red Cross.
