Chhattisgarh on Wednesday announced fresh Secretary-in-charge of its districts, asking them to review the progress of state government schemes and submit a report of the inspection to the Chief Secretary.
An order from the government's General Administration Department said the Secretary-in-charge should conduct at least one inspection in each district.
According to the order, Additional Chief Secretary Renu G. Pillay has been given charge of Dhamtari district, Principal Secretary Manoj Kumar Pingua districts Surguja and Balrampur and Principal Secretary Dr Maninder Kaur Dwivedi Mahasamund and Gariaband districts.
Secretary Dr M. Geetha has been given charge of Bemetara and Kabirdham, Niharika Barik of Bilaspur, Sonmoni Borah of Bastar, D.D. Singh of Dantewada, T.C. Mahavar of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Reeta Shandilya of Mungeli, Pardeshi Siddharth Komal of Durg, Avinash Champavat of Baloda-Bazar-Bhatapara and Raipur, Niranjan Das of Janjgir-Champa, Prasanna R. of Rajnandgaon, Umesh Agrawal of Balod, Anbalgan .P of Korba, Alermelmangai .D of Raigarh and Dhananjay Dewangan has been appointed for Kanker district.
Likewise, P. Dayanand has been named for district Surajpur, Neeraj Bansod for Sukma, Joint Secretary Narendra Dugga for Korea, Dr Priyanka Shukla for Narayanpur and Kondagaon, Dr Tamboli Ayyaj Fakir Bhai for Bijapur and Joint Secretary Bhoskar Vilaas Sandeepan for Jashpur district.
