Migrant workers from Jharkhand, who were stranded in Kerala during the nationwide lockdown, were able to return home to their respective places by Shramik Special Train on Wednesday. After covering long distance, they reached Muri railway station this morning where food packets and water bottles were handed to them. This train will culminate its journey at Jasidih railway station, Deoghar. About 1500 migrants have boarded Shramik Special Train at Kannur railway station, Kerala to begin their journey. CCL has handed over 1550 food packets and 1550 water bottle to Ranchi railway authority for distribution among the migrants.
