CII holds webinar on ‘Early Childhood Care and Education in the context of New Education Policy’

A National digital conference was organized on the topic ‘Early Childhood Care and Education in the context of New Education Policy’. It was held on Friday.

The conference was organised  by CII Madhya Pradesh under the initiative of State Level Panel on Higher Education and Skill Development of CII and in collaboration with AISECT, IES University.

Prominent speakers were Swati Meena Nayak, Director, Women and Child Development Department, Madhya Pradesh, Vice President of AISECT Group and  Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi, Founder of Brainy Bear Pre Schools, Manisha Kawathekar, Group Director, IES Public School, Member of the Governing Body of CBSE and Jyoti Arora, principal of Delhi's Mount Abu School and Sangeeta Uppal, principal of Millennium School, Indore, were present. Apart from this, Siddharth Chaturvedi, chairman of CII Bhopal zone and convener of the panel on higher education of CII and BS Yadav, co-convenor of the panel on higher education of CII, were present.

Among the keynote speakers, Swati Meena Nayak, director of the Women and Child Development Department of Madhya Pradesh gave information about the early development of pre-school education and the Government policies related to it.

Also, the Madhya Pradesh Government informed about the revised draft of the policy presented in relation to early childhood care and education.

Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi, Vice President of Isect Group and Founder of Brainy Bear Pre Schools, first underscored the importance being given to early childhood care and education and said that we are moving from Right to Education to Right to Learning.

These things make early childhood care and education special in the new education policy this time.

Sangeeta Uppal, Principal of Millennium School, Indore said that earlier there were no guidelines from the Government related to early childhood care and education, in such a situation, people open their own schools, there is no consideration of the number of teachers, nor the education of children.
