CM: Economic activities, utmost care must go hand in hand

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that lifting of the lockdown does not mean carelessness. Every individual has to take full precautions otherwise we will not be able to prevent the infection. We have to conduct economic activities and make life normal with utmost care and precautions. People should be made aware more in this direction. Our awareness will help in overcoming corona completely, he added.

Besides, Chouhan mentioned that the pace of corona infection in Madhya Pradesh is slowest in the country. The doubling rate of corona in Madhya Pradesh is 31 days. At the same time the recovery rate is constantly increasing and has become 63.4 percent in the state. There is a constant decline in active cases of Corona in the state.

Chouhan was reviewing the situation of corona and arrangements through video conferencing at Mantralaya on Wednesday. The Minister for Health Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Sanjay Shukla were present.

While reviewing Gwalior district, it was found that the district has all the best arrangements. The condition of all the active patients is good. But the cases of Corona have also been found first time in Gwalior city.

It was found in the review of Neemuch district that 127 cases of Corona have surfaced in the district in the last 7 days, which constitute maximum number from Jawad. Instructions were given to expand surveillance and sampling in the district. The Chief Minister instructed that special attention should be paid to Neemuch and Jawad and work should be carried out with utmost seriousness there.
