Cong demands action against SHO for his rude behaviour

Wednesday, 29 July 2020 | Staff Reporter | NEW DELHI

Delhi Congress has written to Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and Delhi Police Commissioner SN Srivastav about the high-handed action by the Civil Lines Police Station SHO against the Congress leaders during a demonstration held on Monday by the party.

Kishan said that the Congress demonstrations are always peaceful and adhere to the directions of the police to maintain peace and order.

He appealed the L-G and the Commissioner to take appropriate action against the SHO for his rough and rude behaviour towards the party leaders

Congress Delhi unit Vice- president Jai Kishan said that it is highly objectionable and unfair that while the BJP is allowed to hold protests without facing any action, the police adopt high-handed tactics against Congress workers when they protest against the undemocratic and unjust decisions of the BJP Government at the Centre.

Kishan said that the Congress demonstrations are always peaceful and adhere to the directions of the police to maintain peace and order. He appealed the L-G and the Commissioner to take appropriate action against the SHO for his rough and rude behaviour towards the party leaders.
