Congress delegation submitted a memorandum to the Collector regarding the demand for public interest including robberies and mishaps in hospitals in the name of corona with the patients. The congress delegation met the collector and gave him a 9-point memorandum regarding the demands of public interest, including the disruption in hospitals and the bill of running into lakhs of rupees for the patients of Covid-19 by the private hospital.
Congress spokesperson Vivek Soni said that the number of active Corona patients is increasing daily in the city, there is no arrangement of ICU and ventilator for serious patients in the selected hospitals including the government hospital, Madhav Nagar Hospitals, in the absence of which patients could die. Apart from this, lakhs of rupees are being collected from patients in the name of treatment of Covid-19 by private hospital, injections are being sold at 8 to 9 times higher which is in collusion with the doctors and drug suppliers and same is done on other medicines.
Black marketing is in practice as they do not fear administration; BJP MPs, MLAs are all silent on the issue. The staff in hospitals are not properly taking care of patients.
The Congress delegation led by City Congress President Mahesh Soni and District Congress President Kamal Patel met Collector Ashish Singh and shared trouble faced a lot of trouble for the patients fighting from Corona, former MLA Dr. Batukashankar Joshi, State Secretary Chetan Yadav, former Councilor Ravi Rai, Executive Chairman Jitendra Goyal were present.
