Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) on Friday started preparation for Bermo by election, necessitated due to the death of veteran congress leader and MLA, Rajendra Prasad Singh.
A meeting was held under leadership of JPCC Chief Rameshwar Oraon at Bermo in Bokaro District of booth level workers committee on Sunday, which marked the formal launch of a party campaign for the seat.
During the meeting, it was decided that the election will be contested on the work done by the former Minister, Late Rajendra Prasad Singh. Oraon, while presiding over the meeting, said that Singh did a lot of work for the Bermo assembly constituency, despite this many of his targets were still incomplete, the party will have to contest the elections in Bermo constituency to realize his dreams.
