Cong to hold ‘Kheti Bachao Yatra’ on Nov 9

Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) will hold ‘Kheti Bachao Yatra’ -- a Tractor Rally -- on November 9 under leadership of State unit Chief Rameshwar Oraon against the recently passed agricultural laws of the Central Government.

It is known that former President of All India Congress Committee, Rahul Gandhi has started the historic ‘Kheti Bachao Yatra’ through public meetings in Punjab and Haryana by visiting the mandis against the anti-farmer laws passed by the Central Government.

Informing about the programme JPCC Working president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh said that ‘Kheti Bachao Yatra’ will start from Rampur in Namkum block it will pass through Namkum, Rajendra Prasad Check, Doranda, Veer Budhu Bhagat Chowk, Kishoreganj, Ratu Road from Argora and it will culminated at Kanke, where a meeting will be organized. Congress Legislature Party Leader, Alamgir Alam will also be present on the occasion.

Mahto also informed that Oraon has instructed the District Congress Committee Chiefs to inform the State Congress Office by organizing such programs in their respective districts. Along with this, the the Ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior leaders of the district will also be present in the programme.

Meanwhile, NSUI National President Neeraj Kundan visited the State Capitaland met Chief Minister, Hemant Soren to apprised him of the problems being faced by the students of Jharkhand. During this, the Chief Minister assured that very soon all the demands of the students will be fulfilled.

Kundan was accompanied by NSUI, National Secretary and State In-charge Prashant Tiwari. A meeting of the State executive was held during this period.

Addressing the press conference, Kundan said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government is anti-student. “This government is planning to end the scholarship of students and is ready to take anti-student steps to encourage privatization even in universities which will be strongly opposed by NSUI and agitate in a phased manner. The Central Government has nothing done for the students and the people of India. Where on the one hand they used to talk about two crore jobs every year and on the other hand it is ending government jobs,” he added.

On the occasion State Co-Incharge Jitesh Mishra, Bhavesh Shukla, National Coordinator Sarik Ahmed, Aarushi Vandana Singh, Amarjeet Kumar, State President Syed Aamir Hashmi, Social Media Coordinator Gaurav Bhaveshwar, Vice president Indrajit Singh were present.
