In a bizarre incident a corona-positive patient from Mango Daigutu ran away from TMH's COVID ward late on Tuesday night. The patient ran straight to his residence at Mango. The patient told the family that his reports were tested negative, due to which he was released from the hospital. After hearing this news, family members celebrated with great enthusiasm. The patient was welcomed by the flowers. After this, fireworks were carried out in the entire area. Later a team from administration arrived at two o'clock in the night. The team claimed that the patient's report has not yet come negative. He has escaped from the COVID ward. After this, the police nabbed the patient and got him re-admitted to TMH's ward.
On Wednesday, an FIR was lodged against 11 members of the family, including the patient, for violation of the lockdown. In this case, four family members have been detained in Mango police station.
