Covid facilities’ functioning extended to Dec 31

The State Government has extended functioning of Covid-19 health facilities, which have signed MoUs with  administration or funding agencies till December 31.

“After careful consideration of the recommendation of the Technical Committee, Government has been pleased to extend functioning of Covid-19 facilities who have signed MoUs with Government and/or funding agencies, for another period of three months with effect from 1.10.2020 up to 31.12.2020,” Health Department said in a letter to all Collectors.

Further, to rationalise use of general beds,  number of these beds approved in  facilities which have shown less than 50% occupancy in  last two weeks shall be reduced by 50% of approved capacity. The approved capacity in intensive care units (ICUs).
