Crime & Covid review meet held

Delhi Police Commissioner, S N Shrivastava on Saturday held a Crime and Covid-19 review meeting to discuss the law & order and security arrangements for festival season and police responsibility in spreading Covid awareness in the National Capital.
During the meeting the CP also rewarded personnel from Special Staffs of North, Outer, North-West and Dwarka districts in recognition of outstanding and exemplary works done by them during the past few days.
With ongoing festive season and to ensure people while visiting markets follow COVID-19 norms, the Delhi Police is focusing on security in the city’s high-footfall markets. Police said they are also holding meetings with market associations and urging them to ensure social distancing.
Khan Market, Karol Bagh, Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Connaught Place, Janpath, Lajpat Nagar market and Sarojini Nagar are among the markets in the national capital that draw high footfalls.
