.According to an official communiqué released on Friday, Adityanath directed SP Rae Bareli to impose NSA against all those involved in attack on a Dalit woman and her family in Pure Gadiriyan in Salone area.

It may be mentioned that Waris aka Salman Ismail, Maroof, Ibrar, Zubair aka Gore and five other accused barged into the victim’s house on Thursday and brutally assaulted them.

Meanwhile in the crime against females, the first incident was reported from Muzaffarnagar where a youth hailing from Mubarikpur under Mansoornagar police station forcibly took a 6-year-old girl, raped her and later strangulated her to death.

The girl was missing since Thursday evening and her body was found on Friday morning.

In one another incident also in Muzaffarnagar, a minor was pulled in the fields by four youths in the Morna hamlet of the district and later gang-raped at gun-point. The accused also recorded the crime on their mobile phones and set the victim free after threatening to kill her and her family if she lodged a report in this regard.

The girl is a student of class 11.

Inspector Sanjeev Kumar said they had registered a case and were making efforts to nab the accused.

In another incident in Muzaffarnagar, a woman, whose husband is working in Haridwar, said on July 17, she was alone when four local youths jumped inside her house, gang-raped her, took her sign on a blank paper and escaped.
