Day 2 begins with French painting workshop

The second day of Vishwarang Child literature, art and music festival that is organised in co-ordination with renowned YouTube channel Get Set Parent with Pallavi commenced with French Painting workshop.

Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi talked to Akanksha Goenka in this session. This session was all about Claude Monet's Painting. In the beginning of the workshop, Pallavi Chaturvedi and Akanksha Goenka talked about Claude Monet's techniques, work, style and his life.

During the workshop, Akanksha Goenka shared that Claude Monet was born on November 14. We celebrate this day as children's day and Claude Monet was also very close to children. He would love to do his paintings about children.Apart from this, Claude Monet loved to paint the different shades of nature. During the workshop, Akanksha showed many pictures of Claude Monet, his different paintings of the same garden in different seasons. She also made children aware of the simple techniques of painting.The workshop ended with making Monet's famous Japanese Bridge painting.

Vishwarang's first Child literature, art and music festival that has been organised in co-ordination with renowned YouTube channel Get Set Parent with Pallavi had it's second session of the second day about Storytelling. Priya Narayan and Janki Sabesh joined the programme.

The coordinator of the programme was Pallavi Chaturvedi.This storytelling was about a book 'The Friend of Numbers' that is written about India's renowned mathematician Ramanujan. Book's writer Priya Narayan participated in the programme and shared her experiences.

Famous Storyteller Janki Sabesh shared the story of the book, where the life of Ramanujan is described. Janki Sabesh shared that how Ramanujan was. different from other children, where other kids used to go outside and play, Ramanujan used to play with numbers through his slate and chalks. He used to see patterns in Rangoli as well. Her mother used to narrate stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata to her.

While narrating story of her school life, Janki shared that her teacher told the class, "If we will distribute 3 apples to 3 friends, each one will have 1 apple in their side." He was trying to make them understand the division of 3. To which Ramanujan asked, "If there will be no kids and no apple, how will the answer be 1."

While talking to Pallavi, Priya Narayan shared that she started writing since her high school. By that time, she was more into Poetries, later, she studied about different aspects of literature.

After giving birth to a child, she started writing for kids. She shared that after reading a story about an architect, she also decided to write a story on someone who got famous because of his talent. After a long time, Ramanujan's name came in her mind.
