Sunday, 18 October 2020 | Staff Reporter | NEW DELHI

Delhi Police Commissioner, S N Shrivastava, on Saturday held a Crime and Covid-19 review meeting in the National Capital.

The CP during the meeting discussed the law & order arrangements for forthcoming festive season and police responsibility in spreading Covid awareness.

The CP also rewarded personnel from South West, Outer and South East districts in recognition of outstanding and exemplary works done by them during the past few days.

With festive season ahead and to ensure people while visiting markets follow COVID-19 norms, the Delhi Police this year had planned to focus on security in the city's high-footfall markets. Police said they are also holding meetings with market associations and urging them to ensure social distancing.

Khan Market, Karol Bagh, Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Connaught Place, Janpath, Lajpat Nagar market and Sarojini Nagar are among the markets in the national capital that draw high footfalls.
