Differently-abled youth commits suicide

A 26-year-old differently abled youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his house in Garma Gadda  locality under Bajaria police station area on Wednesday.

Police said that the deceased Asif Khan committed suicide at his house when his family members were out.

In the initial investigation the family members told police that deceased was deaf and dumb and went to school for differently abled till class and later he used to stay at home. The parents and other members of the family have gone to Katni to visit their relatives and they made video call which the deceased failed to respond. The family members than informed the neighbours who also failed to find anything as the deceased locked the main gate of the house.

Police were informed and on the receipt a team visited and the lock was broken only to find that the deceased was hanging and was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.
