After finding negligence on duty, mismanagement and misbehavior with farmers’ one patwari and two committee managers were suspended during visit at the procurement centers by district collector Ashish Singh on Sunday.
Collector Ashish Singh on Sunday inspected the wheat procurement centers of Chikli and Ingoria of Badnagar tehsil and Panbihar, Jaithal and Ghatia in Ghatia tehsil and discussed problems with the farmers who shared the issues faced in the process of providing their yield to the farmers.
The Collector discussed with the District Cooperative Central Bank Managing Director and other officials on the complaint of pending payment of about 18 farmers of the Center for purchase of minimum support price set up in Ghatia Agricultural Produce Market.
He has instructed to deduct 7 days of salary of District Marketing Officer Rakesh Hedau as he failed in removing the technical problems of payment on time and due to negligence in transport work.
During discussions with farmers he came to know about negligence on duty by patwari and due to non-notification of the status of the patwari on duty on the spot and not being informed to the higher officials about the problems, the patwari was suspended with immediate effect.
Two committee managers were suspended due to irregularities and due to negligence and not treating the farmers well. During the inspection, Superintendent of Police Manoj Singh and Additional Collector Dilip Kapse were present.
