Dr Leo Cornelio raises concern over pvt schools demanding full fee

Wednesday, 16 September 2020 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

We already know that the educational institutions have remained closed for these months and online classes are going on for children . On the other hand parents are constantly protesting against the schools as they are charging full fees to the students.

Dr Leo Cornelio addressed this problem and said that government schools give free education , private schools charge a huge amount of fees so that they are able to run the schools and develop their infrastructure and the rich people are always been  rushing to those schools which only provide great facilities and amenities but they do not focus on quality education.

“Missionary schools on the other hand have been always charging very reasonable tuition  fees , and still there is objection from most of the people . Government has said that the tuition fees could be charged and if the tuition fees are not paid by the parents how will the teachers survive? Many teachers would be jobless and they will not be able to fill their families and survive during a pandemic.” the bishop  explained.

“The parents are constantly objecting the charging of fees and also have trouble in paying the tuition fee. The government employees are paid by the government and they don’t have to face any problem. Big businessmen who send their children to private schools are also not a big problem .

But the middle class people really have to strive to pay the  fees that is why the missionary schools have always been charging a very affordable amount of fees for every student.” he added .
