International Faculty Development Program’ was organized under the joint aegis of Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal and Dr. CV Raman University Bilaspur. The theme of this week-long online FDP was ‘Alternative Education Possibilities Challenges and Solutions in Post Covid Era’.
This FDP was inaugurated by Brahmaprakash Pethia, Vice Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal, RP Dubey, Vice Chancellor of Dr. CV Raman University Bilaspur.
Brahmaprakash said that education is a challenge in present times. At this time, the scope of education and teachers has multiplied. Teachers are performing their responsibilities. RNTU Registrar Vijay Singh and CV Raman University Registrar, Gaurav Shukla were present on the closing occasion.
Vijay Singh said that the participants of this international FDP got useful information about the changing scenario of education during the Covid-19 era. Teachers will definitely work in creative ways during this crisis. The FDP was coordinated by PK Nayak, Pro-VC of CV Raman University Bilaspur and Kiran Mishra, Head of Department of Faculty of Education, RNTU.
National international experts gave their lectures in various sessions in this week-long FDP. Eminent Motivational Speaker from London, Sanjay Kataria, inspired the teachers and said that teachers need to play more influential role at this time. International expert Kalyan Chakraborty T spoke about the use of lateral thinking techniques at the workplace.
CD Agashe Professor Pandit Ravi Shankar University, Raipur, while lecturing on ‘Thinking Pattern for Alternatives in Planning’, effectively explained the problems faced during online teaching and ways to solve them.
Sangeeta Johri Coordinator IQAC Cell RNTU explained various aspects of inter personal skills while Prof. Professor Vandana Goswami of Vanasthali Vidyapeeth Rajasthan explained various theories of teaching learning processes with examples. Sujit Mishra of Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur spoke about the values of a teacher. A large number of teachers and researchers were involved in this FDP.
