Father booked for beating son

The Piplani police have booked a man for beating his 17-year-old son in an inebriated state at Piplani area.

The accused father accompanied his son to Bhopal to meet his mother and assured him to buy a laptop. The accused is addicted to alcohol and used to beat his son.

After the two came to Bhopal, the father in drunken state, thrashed his son. The victim shared the incident to his uncle who later approached the police with the victim and lodged a complaint with the police.

Based on the complaint, police registered a case under JJ Act and started investigation.

In his complaint, the victim stated that around 2 days ago, he came to Bhopal along with his father to meet his grandmother and to buy a laptop which his father assured him but instead, he was assaulted by his father.

The victim is a class 12 student while his father works in a private company.

Meanwhile, the Jehangirabad  police have booked a miscreant who molested and threatened a 27-year-old girl at Jail road on Thursday.

Police said that the victim was molested by the accused, Yash Chouhan, and later escaped from the spot.

In her complaint, the victim stated that the accused used to visit her office and later started to follow her. On the day of the incident, the accused obstructed her way to home and asked her to accompany him which she refused and when the victim raised alert, the accused escaped from the spot and is still at large.

Police have registered a case of assault and molestation and started search for the accused who went absconding.
