Films screened on day 2 of Vishwarang film fest

The second day of Vishwarang Film festival began with Amit Malik's Violin playing. The first session of the day was hosted by Vinay Upadhyay and Jyoti Dubey in which eminent artist Amit Malik from film and music field, mesmerized everyone with violin playing. Following to which, Uma Vasudev's directed film "Padma Sachdeva" was presented which is based on Indian musician M.K.M sheryaar's life.

A science based film "Nagaland is changing" was also presented on the second day of Vishwarang Film festival. This film is directed by Gurmeet Sapaal, which showcases, relation between forests and people of Nagaland. Further, short films were also presented in the festival.First short film, 'Jari waala Aasman' was directed by Aasif Moyal.Later, 'Anti Hero' film was presented. This film is about an ant and antilian larva and is directed by Siddhu Das.

The last short film to be showcased was 'Rukhsana' which is directed by Mohammed Jorjis.This film is about a girl Rukhsana who wants to study and live her life but faces many problems. The programme ended with the presentation of specially invited film, 'Painting life'. This film was made in 2018 and was directed by Biju.

In the end of the second day of Vishwarang Film festival, Sudeep Sohani talked to Kurdish film 'Jer' director Kajim Oaj. This session was hosted by Sharbani. 'Jer' is a story of a song, where hero's grandmother memories and identity is hidden. Grandmother used to used to sing a song before her death to Jen. This song is about grandmother's past and memories of massacre. The hero's grandmother had seen a biggest massacre in her life and somehow managed to survive through it.

In the end of the day, Mohit Priyadarshi, youth writer and film director talked to renown Malayalam film director, Biju Kumar Damodaran in a session named, "Master Class". During this, he shared, what fun it is to be a independent film director and they can openly express their views through films. The session also showcased memories from last year , where Ashutosh Rana was part of the show. During the session, he talked about his first book, “Maun Muskan ki Maar”, which is a collection of humor satire.

He shared his book is inspired from Maithili Sharan Gupta's book "Charu Chand ki Chanchal Kirane". During this, he shared a funny memory of a bicycle accident.

Session with Prateek DhruvaA storytelling session was organized in which had Amar Chutrakatha Story Academy's head Prateek Dhurva as a storyteller. In the storytelling session, Pallavi Chaturvedi talked to Prateek Dhurva. In this session, he narrated two stories and asked 5 questions to the children related to the stories.The first story was about a jungle and monkey living with other creatures.
