Every person in the world has 24 hours. The point is how to manage it. For that, one has to change with the time, Prashant Kumar Pandey, a keynote speaker and the State Literacy Mission Authority Assistant Director, said on Sunday.

He was speaking at a state-level webinar organized by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education on "Time Management" for school going students, an official statement said. Before starting the webinar, he played a video on ‘I am Time’.

Does a person have the courage to change himself? Does he want to reach the top? Are you ready to change the time? If the answer is yes, then for success, one needs to change by working on a strategic plan, Pandey said.

So, one has to change one's mindset. If one works with time, it will remain with the person, he said.

The present demands multi-tasking -- doing two work at the same time, with a general and a specific target, and focusing on what is most important.

He said if 20 percent of time is given for priority works, 80 percent success will be achieved, if there is focussed energy. Time flies away fast but the person who can manage it better is the winner. So better time management is the basic need.

The speaker underlined that self-discipline is necessary and a time-table should be made to work. The seeds of success have to be sown today to harvest it later. He urged students not to waste time and energy on unproductive and unimportant works.

Educationist C. Satyaraj Iyyer also spoke on the occasion.
