Former Min OP Lal cremated with State honour

Senior Congress leader and trade union leader OP Lal, who was minister of mines in 1985  in Bihar Cabinet died on Saturday at RIMS Ranchi and was  cremated at Lilori

Asthan  cremation ghat in Dhanbad on Monday with State honour.

Minister for Agricultural Badal Patralekh represented the government during the cremation.

Lal was admitted to Medica- Ranchi about a fortnight ago and after being discharged from there when he developed respiratory problems was once again admitted to RIMS Trauma Centre where he breathed his last on Saturday evening. His body was brought to his Katras residence late on Saturday night and on Monday he was cremated.

 Lal (79) had represented Baghmara Assembly constituency thrice from 1985, 1990 and 1995 in Bihar assembly and also was minister for mines under different chief ministers then.
