Sensation prevailed in Bhopal plaza area after a girl was injured by a bullet which brushed her while she was at terrace of her house on Monday; Hanumanganj police have started investigation. Police said that the victim girl and her mother found that victim was injured and found a fired bullet at their terrace.

The victim was rushed to hospital and later police were informed regarding the incident. The victim reported burning sensation and it was found that she had injury and bullet was find on the terrace.

The circumstantial evidences suggest that someone might have made celebration fire on the occasion of Eid and victim was hit after the bullet ended its flight.The FSL team has visited the spot and would investigate the direction from which the bullet was fired.SHO Hanumanganj police MK Thakur said that the girl was sitting at the terrace and no other high rise building is adjacent or near the building which suggests that the victim was not shot and it was fired in air and it dropped at their terrace. 

The victim had bruise which was caused as the bullet brushed the victim. The investigation has been started and people in the area with licensed firearm would be questioned in the investigation, he added. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 336 of the IPC and started investigation.

Police said that the locals having licensed arms would be questioned as it is suspected that the fire is made from the nearby area.
