Haryana on Saturday registered 15 fatalities due to Covid-19 and 1299 new cases, while 1218 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
As per the health bulletin, the death toll has reached 1720 (1195 men, 525 women) and the tally of people tested positive stands at 157,064. While six patients died in Hisar, two each lost their battle to the infection in Sirsa, Yamunanagar and Jind; one each from Fatehabad, Bhiwani and Gurugram.
With 1218 recoveries on Saturday, the number of those cured of Covid-19 rose to 1,45,196 and the number of active Covid-19 cases stood at 10,148. The number of critical patients has come down to 159, of which 33 are on ventilator support. As per the bulletin, the case doubling rate in Haryana further rose to 47 days and the fatality rate is 1.10 per cent. Gurugram reported 398 new infections, Faridabad 193, Hisar 139, Sonepat and Mahindergarh 71 Rohtak 63 and Rewari 58 as per the health bulletin.
