Heavy rainfall witnessed in many parts of State

Big relief came in the form of heavy downpour witnessed in the evening after dark dense clouds during the day in the State capital on Tuesday; several regions have received heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours in the State.

Most of the parts of Jabalpur division recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours while many places in Shahdol, Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Ujjain divisions also reported rainfall. Sagar, Rewa, Chambal and Gwalior were others divisions which recorded rainfall.

During the day on Tuesday heavy rainfall was reported in which Chhindwara recorded 3 cm, Indore recorded 2.3 cm, Guna recordd 1 cm, Damoh recorded 2.3 cm while Bhopal and Hoshangabad also witnessed rainfall.

Under the favorable weather conditions, there is a possibility of normal monsoon conditions in east Madhya Pradesh and western Madhya Pradesh during the next 48 hours.

Rainfall and thunderstorms and lightning is likely to be witnessed in the next 24 hours.

Madhya Pradesh had witnessed normal monsoon conditions during the last hours. Heavy rainfall has been witnessed in Hatpipalya 12cm and Udayanagar 7.5 cm, Khandwa 7.2 cm Barwaha 6.5 cm, Tendukheda 9 cm and Patan 7 cm districts.

The heavy rainfall conditions would be witnessed in State in the next 24 as warning has been issued by Met department for Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Umaria, Jabalpur, Katni Mandla, Seoni, Balaghat, Laghat, Laghat, Sagar, Ujjain, Dewas, Damoh, Rajgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Mandsaur, Gwalior, Ashoka Nagar, Shivpuri, Sheopur Kala districts.

The pattern of weather conditions would prevail for the next 3-4 days and later intensity of rainfall would reduce.
