After having been shoulder with responsibility of the Minister of Higher Education in the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav has started efforts to restore the glory of Ujjain, the place of education of Lord Krishna messenger of teacher- student tradition.

On Tuesday, Yadav visited the University of Ujjain and met all the professors and scholars of the university including Vice Chancellor Dr. Balakrishna Sharma. During visit he instructed the university professors and administrative officials to make a plan to upgrade aiming for betterment and excellence of the university. 

Minister Yadav said that he studied at the Vikram University and it is the responsibility of all of us, including him, to work for making the future of the university glorious.

He said that all of us have to make efforts to transform Vikram University into Central University. The efforts should be made to make it at the top in the State and in the country and these efforts have to be made by every person of the university and holistic approach is important. 

The framing of the New education policy was done and has been implemented and there is a need to start new courses in the university which are capable of giving employment.

Due to the failure of examinations due to corona virus, he said to give general promotion to the students, but the students will get the numbers only on the basis of their previous exams.

A book “Mahatmagandhi Thought and Innovation” was also released on the occasion.
