Jhargsuguda registered single-day highest spike of 31 Covid positives during the last 24 hours. The infected included two municipality employees and a mentally-retarded woman of Mission Ashram.
While 29 are from quarantine centres, two are municipality staff. With this, the number of Covid cases in the district rose to 165.
Reports said officers directly in charge of Covid management like Magistrate, officers and police would get their swab samples tested soon.
