Hry crosses 19K mark with 679 fresh +ve cases

In yet another day of major spike in COVID-19 cases, Haryana on Thursday reported 679 positive cases crossing the 19000-mark. The State’s tally now stands at 19369 with 4572 active cases.

Only a day before, Haryana had crossed the 18000-mark after witnessing its biggest single-day spike with 691 COVID-19 positive cases.  Five deaths have also been reported in the last 24 hours taking the total toll to 287 in Haryana. One death each has been reported in Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, Sirsa and Yamunanagar. 

 “Out of 679  fresh cases, 182 have been reported from Faridabad, 151 from Gurugram, 85 from Sonepat, 51 from Bhiwani, 46 in Rohak, 34 from Ambala, 24 each in Karnal and Palwal, 21 from Panipat among other cases,” according to the State Health Department’s evening bulletin.
