JPPC remembers Tagore

On the death anniversary of the great poet Ravindra Nath Tagore, the author of the national anthem "Jana Gana Mana" and decorated with the Nobel Prize, Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, president of the Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress Committee, along with his team members, remembered Tagore and paid tributes to him. On this occasion, masks, sanitizers were distributed among 150 needy people under Mantra Jeevan Seva by the Professional Congress. On this occasion, Jaiswal threw light on the biography of Rabindranath Tagore and said that Ravindra Nath Tagore had devoted his entire life for the social, social and cultural betterment of the country. Even today, his valuable ideals and ideas are relevant.

‘Kisan Rail’ flagged off by Union Ministers

Indian Railways introduced the first ‘Kisan Rail’ from Devlali to Danapur on Friday from Devlali. The train was flagged off via video conferencing by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Rural Development and Panchyati Raj, Narendra Singh Tomar and Minister of Railways and Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal. The event was attended by Minister of State of Railways, Suresh C. Angadi, Minister of State of Panchayati Raj, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare,  Parshottam Khodabhai Rupala, Minister of State of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Chaudhary among other dignitaries. The train will run on a weekly basis with initial composition of 10 +1 VPs. Speaking on the occasion, Tomar said, “It is a great day for farmers. Kisan Rail was announced in the budget. Agriculture produce needs best possible distribution and returns. Indian farmers have proved that they would never be deterred by any calamity or challenge. Kisan Rail will ensure that agro products reach from one corner to another corner of the country. This train will also benefit the farmers and the consumers.”

ECR takes steps to curb coronavirus spread

Several measures have been taken by East Central Railway to prevent the spread of Kovid-19. These measures include installation of Kovid Care coaches at stations, pre-travel check of passengers traveling by special trains, proper management of treatment by designating railway hospitals for treatment of Kovid-19, checking of railwaymen from time to time, etc. . In order to ensure smooth running of the railway operations, refresher courses and safety related training programs are being conducted through video conferencing to the railway personnel associated with operation and safety. Automatic contactless sanitizers have been installed at all the functions, crew lobby and other sites. Railway personnel are being examined every day before entering the office. Facemask and Arogya Setu App has been made mandatory for railway personnel.

A webinar was organized by the Programme of Marketing contributed by MarkBuzzz the official Marketing club of XISS in collaboration with the Indian Economic Association Friday on “The New Normal and Its Impact on The Indian Economy”. Over 350 participants joined the webinar to gain knowledge from the guest speakers. 4 new positive cases in Hazaribag

Four new cases came to light during last 24 hours in Hazaribag district. The number of active cases reached 672, while 15 people have lost their lives. HMCH Superintendent Sanjay Kumar Sinha said that the medical team has taken the 10273 samples of the suspected Covid patients, out of them 8578 found negative. The report of 1288 is still pending. A doctor from Barhi sub divisional hospital was found positive in the testing through TrueNat. This is the second case of a doctor being found positive in the hospital.

2 illegal gun factories unearthed

In a major breakthrough  Garhwa police on Friday morning unearthed two mini gun factory in the Ketar and Bhawnathpur police station area of the district. Illegal gun making was being done at isolated places. Six persons have been arrested on the charge of being engaged in gun making business. Besides, 17 country made pistols, one made in China pistol, one 315 bolt rifle, three semi-made native revolvers, one air gun, 105 live cartridges , two smart phones and Rs 1,25,000 cash were recovered. SP Khotre Srikant Suresh Rao said that a raid was conducted at the house of an arms dealer  Pappu Chaudhary in Nawada village where a large amount of illegal firearms, cartridges, money related to illegal arms sales were recovered.
