Virtual Assembly at SBPS

Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi is conducting virtual assembly with the studentsat regular intervals. The students sang the GanapatiVandana, “Gaaiyye Ganapati Jagg Vandan…” with pride. This was followed by a motivational thought by a student. The virtual assembly also had a news bulletin to give an account of all that is happening around us. The virtual assembly ended with the school song which was again sung by the students with great reverence towards school. Assembly, though virtual, gave the students the feeling of being in school. School Head Personnel and Admin Pradip Varma said, “It’s a good initiative by the school to keep the students connected to the school even when they are physically away from the school”. Principal Mrs. Paramjit Kaur said, “The students must get the feel of being connected to school and the virtual assembly is the need of the hour”.

Online Discussion webcast by ICFAI

Today an online panel discussion was organised by ICFAI University, Jharkhand on “Protection of Fundamental Rights and Corresponding duty of government during COVID-19 Pandemic”. The panellist were Amit Kumar Das, Expert on Constitutional Law and Practising Advocate at Jharkhand High Court and Pradeep Bhattacharyya, a veteran advocate from Dhanbad. A number of Law students and faculty members actively participated in the discussion. The discussion was moderated by Prof O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University Jharkhand. The discussion covered interesting issues like protection of right to Health and Healthcare aspects, whether it conflicts with the Right to Movement and Carry trade, profession and occupation, with specific reference to the Migrant Labour.
