ECR GM inspects ongoing CBT

General Manager of East Central Railway (ECR) inspected ongoing Computer Based Test at Centre No. 673 (Idz I) & Centre No. 4273 (Idz 2), Patliputra conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards for recruitment of Non-Technical Popular  Categories (NTPC) Graduate & Under Graduate posts. He was accompanied by Chairman/Railway Recruitment Board/Patna Sujit Kumar Mishra. For the first time, the examination is being conducted under the live CCTV surveillance at Railway board and RRB level to maintain better transparency. The CM closely monitored the process of entry, frisking, checking of Identity, biometric registration, node allotment keeping suitable distance, candidate’s login, mid exam biometric and other activities being conducted maintaining COVID-19 protocol.

Ministry of Railways releases a booklet

Ministry of Railways has released a booklet of achievements of Ministry of Railways in the year 2020 with the title “Building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat”. The booklet contains significant achievements and initiatives of Indian Railways in the year 2020. The booklet is having Ministry of Railways’ significant achievements and initiatives with many specific titles like Lifeline of the Nation in the times of COVID-19, Railways spreading goodwill during COVID-19, Rail Suraksha, Infrastructure for a better tomorrow, Northeast connecting the Seven Sisters, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Swachh Rail Swachh Bharat, Green Railways, Skilling India, Dedicated Freight Corridor on Track, Fast-track Freight, Freight on Front-foot, Prosperity in farms with Kisan Rail, Continue to Making Passenger Smile, Platforms of Progress, Public Private Partnership in Operations, Vikas ki Rail, Nimble Railways Fast Railways, Transparency & Accountability etc.

2020 is full of achievements for BSL

The Bokaro Steel Plant has succeeded in setting several new records by improving the level of its performance while facing the challenges of Covid-19 in the year 2020.The team BSL, under the leadership of Amarendu Prakash, Director in-charge of BSL, set a new daily record of 11608 tonnes of hot metal production and 329440 tonnes of hot metal production from three furnace operations. Similarly, four hot furnace operations recorded the best hot metal production so far in October and November and new daily and monthly production from Blast furnace No-1.The production of granulated slag, including BF productivity, coke rate, CDI rate and CDI injection, also set new monthly records in eco-technical standards.

FRAI comes in support of micro-retailers

Federation of Retailer Association of India (FRAI) Jharkhand Chapter today raised its concerns against the growing harassment of small shopkeepers across the State because of multiple reasons. Since the lockdown in March this year, the livelihood of members is in a shambles, and they are on verge of starvation. FRAI has appealed to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to protect the interests of over 2 lakh micro retailers and their family members who sell multiple products to earn a meager sum to look after their families and save them from the potential harassment. Small retailers from across the state have also sent letters to CM requesting him to save their livelihood.

Training programme by BTF concludes

The first batch of the four-month free sewing / mehndi program was concluded under the banner of Bring Together Foundation. Among the students, Neeru, Rupa, Asha, Rekha, Pushpa, Rajni, Priyanka, Suko, Savita, Madhuri, Ayushi, Santoshi Devi were given certificates by Director Rashmi Singh in the presence of teacher Sushma Sinha.

Fancy Dress Competition at DPS Bokaro

With a vision to plant the seeds of creativity and expression in the budding stars of the school, the Primary Wing of DPS Bokaro organized a Fancy Dress Competition for the students of Classes Nursery, Prep and I. The results were declared today.  The students were dressed up as per allotted themes which aimed at awareness, innovation, culture, entertainment, and national integrity. Principal, A.S. Gangwar congratulated all the participating students and thanked the parents for their enthusiasm. The school always aims to inculcate values for all-round development of the students. In the Primary Classes, when their minds are most impressionable, such opportunities to express and present themselves play a key role in their development, he said.
