The Chhattisgarh Health Department on Tuesday asked passengers who had landed at the Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur on June 7 and 10 to remain in home isolation.
“Passengers who landed at Raipur by Indigo flight 6G-2757 on June 7 and by Air Vistara UK-797 on June 10 are suggested to remain in home isolation. One passenger each in both flights were detected coronavirus positive,” a press release from the state government said.
In view of public's and their own health safety, the Health Department has asked inter-state travellers to remain in paid quarantine for 14 days and then in home quarantine for 14 days.
People in quarantine have been told to avoid public contact and contact the nearest government hospital if they have fever, cough or trouble in breathing.
