The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that the progress of the setting up of the industrial units brought into the state under the agreements reached during the Investor’s summit of 2018 has got affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
He however added that the phase would soon get over and things would get normalised. Rawat informed that projects worth Rs 24000 Crore have been grounded so far from among the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) reached during the summit. He claimed that work on projects worth Rs 3000 Crore has started.
In the Investors summit held in the year 2018 MoU worth Rs 124000 Crore were reached between state government and entrepreneurs.
