The body of a youth identified as Surya Kanta Swain hailing from Mukundapur village under Jagatsinghpur block, who had succumbed to his illness in New Delhi, reached his village on Saturday with support of the Mo Parivar. The body was later cremated in the village.
Reports said that the youth had been pursuing higher study at New Delhi. After his death, the Odia Samaj, New Delhi, had informed Odisha Chief Minister’s Office seeking help to transport the body.
Mo Parivar head Arup Patnaik took initiative in this regard and the body was carried in a flight.
