This is our age-old art, all of us members of the Nat-Bhat society used to narrate the story of our king (of Nagor) Amar Singh Rathod from village to village and demonstrate his art, which spread the fame of our king all around.
Ajit Bhat, along with his father Puran Bhat, used to go to puppet performances from childhood and learned this art by watching them. Bhat has exhibited his art in many prestigious forums in India and abroad.
