There is a need to provide loans to all SHG beneficiaries of the State and the loan amount in this scheme has been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, said Special Secretary, Finance Department Deepti Jayaraj on Friday during State Level Bankers Committee meeting.
Jayraj also said that e-stamping will be started soon in Jharkhand, right now this facility is applicable only in Delhi and Rajasthan in the Country.
SLBC's quarterly meeting held on Friday through video conference, following the guidelines of the Central Government and the Jharkhand Government. In this meeting Joint Secretary, DFS, Government of India, Madnesh, Special Secretary, Finance Department Deepti Jayaraj, General Manager, RBI Ranchi Sanjeev Dayal, General Manager, NABARD, AK Padhi and General Manager of SLBC, Ravindra Kumar Das were present in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion General Manager of SLBC, Ravindra Kumar Das said, in the hour of Corona epidemic and lock down in the Country, the bank, police, medical department and media personnel are doing commendable work. These people are the Corona warriors of the society and the Country and due to their contribution the banks achieved their targets.

Madnesh Mishra said that to encourage digital transactions, more and more people should transact through digital medium. He said that 161 villages in Jharkhand still do not have banking facilities within 5 km of the villages and it needs to be connected to banking services soon.
