Lieutenant General Atulya Solankey, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding, Sudarshan Chakra Corps, after taking over command of the prestigious formation, paid homage to the gallant martyrs of the Indian Army who made the supreme sacrifice for the Nation in a solemn ceremony organised at Sudarshan Chakra War Memorial.
After the Wreath Laying, the GOC addressed the entire formation through Video Conferencing and emphasised on maintaining highest operational standards through realistic training showcasing utmost levels of military professionalism. The Corps Commander highlighted the constantly changing dynamics of modern warfare and emphasised that our forces should be prepared to deal with all contemporary and futuristic security challenges at all times.
He further exhorted all ranks to rededicate themselves to uphold the highest traditions in service of the Nation and directed every soldier of Sudarshan Chakra Corps to remain steadfast in his endeavour as a professional and deliver in the most challenging conditions against any adversary in tune with the finest traditions of our Great Army.
